About Me
Hi! I'm Alex, a 28 year old hospitality manager who's looking to switch careers. I heard web devs get to sit in a chair all day and I signed up immediately. I'm currently in the process of completing the Codecademy full stack developer course as a part of ITCareerSwitch's coding programme.
I have a CertHE in Politics and International Relations from the University of Leicester and A levels in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics. I love to read and play video games in my spare time with some favourites being the Discworld series, DOTA 2 and Valorant.
I hope to use my new-found skills to do more than just generate profit for a private enterprise. I'd love to work in the public sector or for a charity or non-profit and maybe one day found my own.
